Don't know what I'm going to do for dinner. I really don't feel like cooking. It's been one of those days. I didn't get good news from the doctor and it's one of those hurry up and wait sort of things. I know if I fail to plan, I typically plan to fail! At the same time, I'm so tempted to eat my stress away. That's why I took the kids to Chic-fil-a on the way home from the docs. At least I maintained low-carb and didn't go for the sugar. Even now, I'm not craving sugar (hallelujah!), but I am just wanting to stuff my face. Not to mention I get another round of steroids (hip, hip, hurray! At least, I might feel better.), praying the emotions and medication don't send me on a spiral. Just trying to get a grasp!

I'm so tempted to heat up pizzas for everyone tonight, but that would also put me in temptation to eat my gluten free version of pizza. Hmmm! Guilty pleasure. Cook them theirs, then make myself a deep (S) low-carb pizza instead of my gluten free frozen pizza. Then at least, if I indulge, my carbohydrate count will still be low enough for the day.

Going to try to take a nap before the steroids kick my butt. Maybe they'll kick in by the time I wake and I'll have all the giddy-up I need to take the time to make a low-carb pizza!

I am so sorry you are going through all of this. I know stress makes me want to make excuses and stuff my face. Hopefully there will be a light at the end of the tunnel for you soon.
