Josie Ann's Journal, 13 November 2014

I made it 175 days before finally weighing in today. Got inspired by another FS buddy to just step on and see where things are at. Not horrible, but not my happy weight either. Oh, well those elusive 5 lbs won't keep me up at night. I'm just not in a losing mode right now. Probably, because it's winter and it's comfy cozy sweater season!

No, in all honesty I do want to lose 5-7 lbs, but those damn pounds require a lot of freakin' effort, so I'm calling my lazy self out. Still running 3-4x a week, and that is helping me maintain, but I'm not pushing it, so that it moves over into losing territory.

Still on the vegetarian train. I've put fish back on the menu 2 months ago, but definitely no dairy or eggs. My digestion and skin have both become so good since I've removed meat, that I will never go back to eating cows, chickens, or pigs. Eating a 95% plant-based whole foods diet is working for me.

Keep moving forward everyone!

I'm with ya on the last 5 lbs. Not worth the effort at this point. Maintaining is good. Maybe in January or March kick it up a notch?!

It's cold out side, but get a sauna suit and start working out indoors. You will work up a sweat and shed some extra pounds. Give it a try and let me know how that works. Nutrition is key and you are correct. I cut chicken and fish down to twice a week and veggies are on my menu. Rock the veggies. Don't go into hibernation like the bears continue to workout so you can Rock in 2015 with a brand new attitude towards being healthy. You made this far and you have not crossed that finish line yet.

Yes, TButterfly, I agree - finish line has not been crossed. Thanks for the encouragement! I will reach my goal line before 2015! It's all mental.

Good to hear from you Josie. I confess I wish I'd pulled mine back in line at 5lbs; that was definitely the plan; but I will do it. With the love and support here, I will do it.
