Weigh-in due tomorrow. I suspect I will not be seeing a drop. I haven't been going over my RDI much, but I haven't been eating as well as I would like. With no grocery shopping I can't plan the meals I would like to be making, I am making do with what I have. I am so looking forward to the grand opening of the new grocery store ! They open at 8 am on Wednesday and I will be there at 9 am with bells on! I have a grocery list that is over 60% produce and all healthy. (Except the coffee, maybe). I miss salad and fresh vegetables. One good thing is that the tomatoes are coming in I have all I can eat and freeze.

Swimming has been temporarily suspended since I tripped over a curb and smashed my knee. No open wounds in the pool...this bums me out, plus, it hurts. 240 lbs hitting the asphalt does a lot of damage. The good news is that I was wearing shorts so no pants were harmed in the fall. :-P

Had some yummy baked rosemary, garlic chicken breasts for dinner and just finished baking up another batch of morning glory muffins for snacking.

The cooler weather is here, hope my knee gets better soon so I can bike and walk and enjoy it.

Hope all my FS buddies had a good day.

Glad you didn't break anything. Your chicken breasts for dinner sounds wonderful. The cooler weather would be great for biking. Hope your knee will cooperate!

Thanks pwrestlephoto - I have two cherry tomato plants but they REFUSE to ripen. I am going to pick a bunch of green ones and put them near some bananas. I hear that they help the ripening process. I really don't get enough direct sun on my little strip of garden to grow vegetables, but it was a fun experiment. Thanks for the good wishes kattay!

I never heard that before about the bananas making tomatoes ripen faster. How cool! Neat you have a new grocery store opening up near you! Woo Hoo! Your poor knee! That had to hurt like hell! Your chicken dinner sounds delish and the muffins sound yummy! I have heard of morning glory muffins before .... these aren't low carb, I bet?

I had a face planting experience a few months ago and fell across a kerb. I couldn't take a full breathe for about 6 weeks. Take your time getting back on track.

Sorry to hear about your knee. At least you didn't break it. Now you know that you have strong bones. My friend, she is 38, hates milk and never drinks it. She slipped and fell and broke her wrist. That's what you get when you don't have enough calcium. I wish you a speedy recovery :-)

Mom2Boxers - The morning glory muffins have 20 grams of carbs and about 150 calories. Full of carrots, raisins, walnuts and whole wheat flour. The bananas release ethylene gas that helps some other fruits ripen. -- had to google that one, lol. I was surprised by how much my knee hurt, but it is on the mend and didn't get infected, so far, so good :-) I was lucky that I didn't hurt my hands or wrists, since they absorbed some of the fall. Grateful nothing broke, I would be lost if that happened and my dogs, oh dear.
