I'm a week in to school, trying to figure out the best ways to squeeze in exercise. So far, I've gotten in 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times this week, and I've been pretty good on the calories. This year I wanted to work on incorporating more fruits and veggies, which is very hard due to my sensitivity to textures. This week, however, I tried dried mango and apricots. The mango was much like a fruit leather, and was tasty. I wasn't too big of a fan of apricots.

This week, I want to try giving up sodas for at least a month to see if carbonation is affecting me. My weight loss has been very slow these last few months, and so I want to change something up. But don't get the wrong impression. I am not a soda fiend. I actually cut waaaaay back last year because I used to drink 1-2 a day, but now I have less than one a day and often go days with out one. I will continue to bring my water bottle to school, which was a great habit I developed last year. Its also eco friendly!

Diet Calendar Entry for 09 January 2011:

Brookie....Apricots...yum...I was always glad you didn't like the ones that came from our tree in the backyard because it left more for me..lol. They are so sweet and succulent, I wish their was a pallet training course for texture sensitive people that you could take in school...Remember, your body is your gym so do leg lifts, squats, etc. whenever you notice no one is noticing...lol. Have a super week...lets loose some more weight!..Towanda!!!!!
