Too Many Notes's Journal, 28 September 2008

4.4 lbs gone! Woo! OK, so I know a lot of it is probably the initial water loss, but I'm still happy. It's a step in the right direction, and the first time in months I've seen the scale go down, not up. It's encouraging.

I went grocery shopping today and have all sorts of new recipes to try out and share with everyone. My pantry is starting to look much better now. Gee, I can't remember the last time the pantry was filled with cooking ingredients and not Pop-Tarts and cookies! I'd say the pantry and fridge transition is almost complete, but it'll take another week or two for both of them to be totally meal-ready.

I didn't meet my exercise goal last week, so I'm focusing on that this week. I still hope to get at least three days of cardio a week for a few weeks, then I'll add resistance training.

CONGRATS Its a great feeling losing such a big amount of weight. and its not water its FAT. Im also concentrating on exercise this week, Ill be ok next week, on hols and I live in the pool/sea whilst on holiday, but Its food that Ill have to watch, Heres as they say in the films HERES LOOKING AT YOU KID, keep up the good work
