My little granddaughter, Naomi Christine Rose, was born today. I got up at three to pick my daughter, Meg, up at 5 a.m. this morning to be induced and she delivered at 1:30 p.m. Both are well. Naomi is darling. I'm exhausted. I'm headed to the Land of Nod. I ate what was available . . . not that great and a lot of gluten. I'm already feeling it and am going to really regret it tomorrow. Oh well. It was totally worth it to watch little Naomi come into this world. May the world treat her well. Hugs all.

Congratulations Gramma! Get out the camera! If gluten is a real killer for you, you might want to avoid grains altogether, as they all have gluten. Long grain and Basmati rice are supposedly the lowest in gluten, so if you must eat grain, those are best choices.
