I hate my scale!!!! I do all the things I am supposed to do and then I gain a pound.... WTF!

Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. It's very insightful and will help you understand the inner workings of the body more. A gain could be anything from too much sodium, to sore muscles from exercise, to a day of too many carbs. Many times it's water weight fluctuating naturally. Even hormones, sickness, medicine etc,. all affect the scale.

Really Suzi161?? I will do that now!! Hey I looked at your profile and we are similar in our goal. I was 174 am now 150 (depending on the mood of my scale bc I was 146 the other day) Want to be my diet buddy? I need one! I have been trying to ditch this last 15lbs for a year and I always give up...

Suzi161 is so right on it! I use to base my weightloss on the scale everyday and would get frustrated. You will look up one day and the numbers on the scale will be going down......down......down.....Yeah! So many factors have to be taken into consideration and you have to give your body to expel fat, salt and toxins.

Drink at least 64 oz. Water daily and incorparate healthy fats, like avocados, almonds, variety of nuts, add flax seeds to salad and soups, eat more greens with your meals, try to eat 3 meals and 2 snacks btwn, go walking 30-45 mins weekly, add cardio aerobics or zumba or whatever is fun for you and do your best to NOT eat 2 hours before bedtime. When I made the chanes to my healthy lifesyle, the weight shedded and my entire body is transformed!

I do drink plenty of water and I mountain bike over 100 miles a week so thats not my issue. I just need to make better food choices and lately I have been super relaxed about what I eat (which is why I am here). Plus from the looks of my diet I need to eat more. Much MORE!!! Thanks for the tips though.
