Annie- what is the difference between fasting and take-off. I am doing take-off today w/oranges. I know you're supposed to do it for 2 days but I HATE it, so if I lose enough I might not do take-off tomorrow. Has anyone else done take-off for only 1 day?! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks and have a great day-all!

Fasting is a faith related thing, nothing to do with the Take Off. I usually have no struggles fasting but usually cave in to cheating late on Take Off day one because I am so hungry. A few times, I have abandoned Take Off after day one. However I also have continued Take Off for several days once. Usually I do not see great permanent results with Take Off. :(

LA Weight Loss offers 2 so called jump starters if you will. One is called Fast Forward and the other is called Take off. Both of them really should be followed for two days. Also you need to be careful as for your food selections following these programs because you can gain the weight back very quickly if you don't watch what you are eating.

Thanks for setting me straight! I was confused- I actually do Fast Forward, not Take-off. I did follow for 2 days, although it wasn't easy. Thanks for your help! Have a great day:)

What is Fast Forward? I've never heard of it.

fast forward as i remember it is unlimited green veggies, protein(no pork) and drink this drink that tastes like fruit juice for 2 days. it is supposed to cleanse your body of carbs to get ready for the diet phase. i use 2 or 3 oranges instead of the drink, others use cantaloupe. I have also purchased Knudsen's morning blend-it has almost the same ingredients as the $25 bottle LA wants you to buy but costs only a few bucks!Good luck !!

oh i forgot- you can steam your veggies, use lo-fat dressing, and use butter or oil in cooking (kinda like atkins) and you can have up to 2 eggs daily:)

Hmmm... That's what they've told me to do with Take-Off... but they did have an initial Take-Off and then now they want me to do Take-Off 2 which cuts down the protein to a tiny portion throughout the day. Maybe the Fast Forward would be the initial Take-Off I had to do?

sounds like it! They keep changing things around and I haven't gone since my center closed in Dec. I've never done the take-off w/ limited protein. Do you lose substantial weight w/that? I know some people on this site don't so i'm not too thrilled to do it. Have a good weekend!

I haven't done it yet w/ the limited protein. I'm afraid I'll be really hungry though I have to go to work on Tues. and Wed this week and I'm thinking that I might just do it on those days. As well, I just don't know if Take-Off is really a healthy decision. I'll tell ya if I actually do decide to go through with it. I will have a great weekend! You too!
