My body does NOT like phase 2! I gained 3.5 pounds in a week... I think it was from peanut butter cuz I haven't gained anything since I stopped eating it. I finally got my butt back in the gym... lost 1/2 a pound so that's good. I'm gonna try to go 3 times a week for an hour a day starting out cuz I know that's something I will realistically stick to. I'm not gonna record a weigh in until I at least get back to 140 though... gosh this yo yo thing sucks! I honestly think it's from stress though. I'm having some personal issues with my dad and some serious stress at work. My dad is a recovering alcoholic and addict that I recently found out is not quite recovering anymore and he's just an ass when it comes down to it. He uses any substance he can as a crutch for being a weak person and I find it amazingly frustrating. Ontop of that I have my regular job as MLS Coordinator at Re/Max, but the agent I'm also assisting left for vacation last week and I get to babysit his phone and listings/contracts while he's gone. Problem is I'm not an agent and half the crap I'm doing for him I've never done before, nor do I know how so I have to constantly ask our BIC (who is awesome and I love her) but I know she's busy so I feel bad. He was only supposed to be gone a week that turned into 2 and I can't get ahold of him because of where he is and there have been all these issues with his builders and closings so needless to say... I'VE BEEN STRESSED!!! I just hope when he gets back I'll feel better... today wasn't too bad though, but I'm trudgin' along here.

Wow, that's a lot of stress to say the least. I know about dealing with family members and substance abuse and that is MAJOR stress. I feel for you. Just remember he has a disease. I'd be willing to bet he hates it as bad as you do. At least the job stress will improve very soon. Hang in there and don't buy anymore of that peanut butter! :) The gym sounds like a good place to work off some calories and STRESS.

stress can cause so many physcial as well as emotional problems. Maybe right now you just need to try to do whats right for YOU. Exercise helps ease stress/tension and maybe make time to go to a movie or take a long bubble bath. Do something nice for yourself, you deserve it.
