Hey guys... I've made it through week one on phase one and have not lost an ounce since the first day. I'm a little confused and am thinking maybe my body is used to eating this way so I need to switch it up... I really don't know. I did have some beer at the concert on Friday night and some SF ice cream but other than that... nothing. I eat salads most of the time and when I found out I couldn't have half and half... I stopped using it. I gave in and started working out again yesterday... brought my gym clothes with me today and all. I really gotta do something. I'm getting a little discouraged so if anyone knows a good way to kick things in gear again... I'm all for it!

You know, you have so little to lose, it might come off a little at a time. Those last 10 pounds or so can be the hardest. Exercise might be the key for you. Vary your food intake (don't constantly eat the same things). Kick up your exercise (but remember you can gain some water weight temporarilly because of muscle soreness). Give it a few weeks and see how it goes. Good luck!

That would be "temporarily" lol!

I didn't loose much intil the second week of phase one and my husband didn't loose any until the second week. Stick with it.

ok, don't hate me for saying this, but you know I've known you for a while now. Are you still what...a size 4 and about 5'9? If so, is it all possible that perhaps at this point rather than watching the numbers on the scale you could focus more on toning up and fitness? I didn't realize that in doing that I would drop additional 14 pounds after hitting my original goal weight. I quit thinking of it as losing weight but really focused on toning up and working on my muscles (strength training). Tighten up that body, get more toned up all over. My doctor told me I could lose more weight but the idea was to replace any flabby areas with muscle so after a loss, its possible to gain SOME back. I don't look so much as my weight being a factor now as I do my "Mission; replace flab with muscle". Now I eat to think of nourishing muscle growth WHILE eating healthy and not wanting to gain. I wonder if switching it up that way for you might help? Instead of plain salads, start eating tuna in it or salmon in your salads. Get some good healthy proteins along with those greens. I'm just wondering if weight wise and nutritionally now your body is like, "well, this is as far as we can with what you're giving us." And by the way, I do not mean hitting the gym and spending hours a day working out, I don't do that, WONT ever do that! Just spend 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening with weights (I do yoga WITH weights). If you're needing to really tone up, that should do the trick. You have determination so that's not the issue. You just need to figure out what will work to get your body in it's most fit and healthy state. You can do it.

I don't know ImLuuvd, you might be right and I can't lose much more. I know I can lose about 7 or so cuz that's what I gained and I can still wear a 4, but it's a little tighter so for jeans at least I think 6's are more comfortable. Unfortunately I can't handle eating fish but I'll try to switch up my meals a bit more and work out more... I already knew I needed to, just didn't want to. I'll give that a shot... thanks everyone for the advice!
