I didn't step on the scale today but I will do so tomorrow. I've got a new found motivation as of last night. Last night I went to the Staind and Chevelle concert with my friend Mara (as you can see from the picture I posted) and it was an awesome concert... up until the end of the night. So we go outside so she can smoke a cig and these dudes that were in the row we were sitting in followed us out there... they'd talked to us throughout the night, but it wasn't really a big deal. They kept saying how hot we were (which is always nice to hear of course) and we told them we were married and all, but they didn't seem to care... as most guys don't in this town. So I don't know how the conversation turned but I did have a few beers (which I hate and know was not on the SBD, but I rarely go to concerts so what the hell...) so anyways the guy says something to me about having a kid... like that I've had one; which I have NOT by the way. And I ask him what he means by that and all I hear is something about my stomach when I flash on the guy; make a slight scene, grab my friend and we head off back to the concert. WTF does he have to say about my stomach like I've had a kid... is he implying I have a tummy? OMG that made me mad! I mean obviously I know I need to lose some weight otherwise I wouldn't be on this website trying to do so, but having someone comment on something that you're self conscious about anyways? Asshole! Sorry but wow! So I go home after the concer, eat some ice cream =( I know, my bad... and today is a new with lots of motivation! I guess the guy lit a fire under my ass cuz I'm done... this weight is coming off damnit!

That's ridiculous. I had three people I KNOW ask if I was pregnant, within a 6 month period, needless to say it made me feel pretty crappy. At least it got you motivated though, right?

You look great. Okay so at least you got re-motivated to lose those last few pounds but you know how to do it, no problem. The guy is a jerk and was probably just trying to get you all worked up. He probably really thought you were too good for the likes of him, so he might as well insult you and then there would be a reason for you not to go for him (hope you know what that means). It was his own insecurity that made him act that way!
