don't look at this as starting over but as a learning curve and a lesson. it is not a race and smart term thing.. Look at losing weight as a continuous process with it's ups and downs and your desire to slim down and stay slim as a new life style. there is no point dieting if you at the end just going to go back to old habits which got you here in the first place. your whole lifestyle had to change for this to work. I haven't lost anything for a year as I was going up and down all the time but I am not 'starting over' or giving up I am continuing and eventually I will make progress and maintain it in a long run. majority of the problem is in our heads. if you think.. ok I am going to starve myself for few months and exercise like mad and then I can just go and 'enjoy' myself as I was before then this is never going to work. We need to be honest, hard and realistic with ourselves. support is important but harsh reality check is necessary. I hope you take it the right way as I am not trying to lecture I am just saying what eventually worked for me after years of yoyo dieting xxx
