Yesterday I made my annual visit to the gynecologist. I have shrunk 1/2 inch and my weight is 169! This morning I went to my family doctor for fasting labs. There I weighed 167.6. I discussed my "weight problem" with him and he recommended Weight Watchers for me and my husband. As we age, he told me, we lose muscle mass and our metabolism slows so that if we eat the same amount that we did a year ago, we will gain weight. How depressing!
