017's Journal, 22 January 2008

This weekend I did not work out. We ate okay, even at our church potluck. However, I didn't eat great yesterday - I had 3 pieces of left over pound cake. I did get in 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday and about 40 minutes this morning. I will weigh myself tomorrow morning. Hopefully the lingering effects of that time of the month will be over.

I went thru my calendar last night and started using multiples of 2 lbs of weightloss each week to see how much those little pounds would add up to. By the end of June, if I just lost 2 lbs a week, I would lose 45 lbs!!! That would take me to 116lbs which would be 1 pound below my goal weight!!

It can kind of be depressing when you get on the scales at the end of the week and you "only" lose 2 lbs. BUT they do add up! How wonderful just thinking about being at my goal weight!! I actually think at at 5'2" and 115 lbs that I would look good in a bathing suit. ;o)
