getting ready to start weight watcher online. Having surgery next month, so hopefully can start next week. I am giving myself 3 months, if no results or poor results, I will try to go back to Atkins type diet. My husband is a codependent eater and is not dieting. very hard to stay on track.

If you are the cook, then it's not really that difficult. Go to skinnytaste.com or emilybites.com for some great recipes. You can make all the stuff you usually make, but may need to lighten it a bit. WW is about eating healthy. Even if your husband isn't overweight, eating healthy will help prolong his life. You measure out your portions and he eats what he wants. I do WW with a modified Atkins. I lose better with lower carbs. So focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Limit your processed type foods. Drink plenty of water. Get active! The plan will work if you work it. Read how to get started so you know and learn as you go. Good luck!
