day 223...36 outside this morning..30 with wind chill..got my morning walk in and went to the gym and got my other hour and a half in...i had server probems today..seems like it happens about once a month..never the same day..but its up and runnin now...im glad..would be a long day without internet...lol..so my journal is running behind alittle...the scale goda are smilin on me finally..i felt like i was in a plataeu before yesterday, but after i lost the 3 pounds yesterday..was on the scales again today..and im gonna have another loss by sat or sunday..i think ive figured out how to get my weight off...not eating breakfast, makes my body have to get the energy from the fat that its stored..and i have started watching my fat intake and my carb intake closer ...and right now, that seems to be working..

You are a machine, I tell you what! I have actually read that working out before breakfast helps burn more fat because your body taps into fat storage for energy rather than burning what you just ate. However, these articles also always recommend eating breakfast afterwards.

yes, i actually read that among a big study of overweight people, the one factor that most of them had in common was not eating breakfast. just food for thought, because only you know what works for you. looks like you're doing an awesome job!

for me, i was eating breakfast, not that much, and then going for my walk and workout and i just didnt feel like i was loosing on a continual basis..but monday i started going without breakfast just on a trial basis to see if it does make a difference...for me, it does seem to make a difference..but im also not on a diet, instead i chose to change my eating habits...but it still should work for everyone...if they chose to try it...

I agree with gug, very good observation on your part in regard to your diet! watching carbs and fat will definitely make a difference, I'm living proof. can't wait till you weigh in on Saturday or Sunday now! 3 lbs loss must mean that the angel who was sitting on your shoulder finally got up and flew over to the chair!

i was on the scales this morning an was almost down another pound...so i think my 320 is within grasp alot sooner then i expected...makes workin out like i do seem worth it more...
