alllicat's Journal, 15 March 2010

I keep opening up the journal. I don't know what to say.

Food was terrible this weekend, however, I am not showing much of a gain. Which makes me happy, I worked out, A LOT, this weekend. So maybe that's why. I took an hour yoga class on Saturday, and I ran in place with the Wii Fit for 80 minutes.

That sounds like I was a model citizen, wouldn't it? Well, after the Cheesecake Factory dinner on Friday, and then Outback on Saturday, and my mother's lasange on Sunday, and half of a Dunkin' Donuts, donut on Sunday night. I'm not terribly upset about the .4 gain.

I'm going to yoga again tonight. It's working better than I'd ever imagine, and my flexibility is increasing. I'm still not smoking, and it'll be 4 weeks this Wednesday, and it's not even hard. And soda, I may not even start even drinking soda again.

Other than that I don't know what to say. I've been really tired lately, but that's not stopping me from exercising. I need to keep up the exercise, that's the only way I'm going to lose this weight.

My mom asked me a question while shopping for an outfit for the baby shower this weekend, she said while I was sucking in my stomach with a new pair of 9s on (they fit I was just showing her where I'd "like" to be), "Why are you focusing on what you haven't lost, rather than being happy for what you lost already?" I thought that was a good question, that I cannot answer.

<img src="http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/108/l_5d1e90a710387ac2eda0836d38409e46.jpg"> this is an old picture of me from when Joe and I went to Disney World. Ugh. I hate it. Joe has it hanging in the apartment. When I lose all my weight, we're going back and taking a new one!

While I'm sweating it up in hot yoga, I'll be thinking of you and garlic shrimp tacos with no cilantro mayo and extra cabbage, hating my life, and wishing I was eating them instead of you!

Unless I get the Aloha Chicken wrap which is: Teriyaki chicken, sesame seeds, pineapple, jack & cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomato & red onion. I'd say no to the cheese, but other than that, it sounds pretty good and healthy. Thoughts??

what kind of wrap is it on? that would be my deciding factor, and I'd tell them to just go easy on the cheese rather than omitting it completely. Cheese is so terribly bad for you, but I'm so addicted to it. I never give it up.

It comes with either a flour, spinach, whole-wheat, or sundried tomato wrap. I'd go for the whole-wheat, but truthfully, theres probably not much difference either way. I think I'll try it this time, but its probably really huge - way bigger than the little shrimp taco that I normally get. I'll try my best not to eat the whole thing..... lol

Have a sense of adventure, go for it. I wish I could go to Surf Taco whenever I wanted! I'm so jealous, however, I do have a Secret Shopper assignment on Wednesday for the Cheesecake Factory in Freehold, so I'll be in your neck of the woods!

Oh my goodness - thats to funny! I did research marketing at the freehold mall a few weeks ago. It was for NY & Co - I felt bad, but I had to tell them how "old" their clothes were, and not NYC style AT ALL!! LOL So what do you do as a secret shopper at the cheesecake factory? Do you sit and eat, or just buy a cheesecake from the counter?? They have a nice looking bar area there, but I've never sat / stood there....

I'm supposed to sit at the bar and eat, actually. Just order a few things. It's pretty bad, because I worked for the Menlo one for 6 years and I was their Lead Trainer, so I know EXACTLY what they are supposed to be doing. I actually went to the Freehold one as a trainer, when it opened, hopefully no one recognizes me. NY & Co does have old clothes, it's trying to be trendy, but totally not. I have to eat there and then I have to take a crazy long survey. That's all, and I already know what's on the report, because I've been shopped and suspended because when I got my new job, in the two weeks before my last day, I stopped caring. lol

.4 from all of that?! i'm jealous!!! lol! and ur mom's question sounds like the one i get asked all the time! i think part of it has to do with the fact that we still see ourselves as the "fat" girls, even though no one else does. we're not satisfied until we make out goal.
