DO N OK's Journal, 14 November 2017

Still hovering at 185#s, Went out and bought my food for My holidaze food feast. Called Turdukenish last night, Cornish game hen stuffed in side a chicken, stuffed inside a duck, stuffed in side a Turkey, all boned out ( boneless) and marinated in mojo, then layered with cajun sausage stuffing and baked. Also my andouille sausage for my stuffing side dish, some of my college student's who are Colombian suggested we put all of that Turdukenish inside a pig, which they do in there country, That would feed over a 200ppl..Thought I would not be making it this year, as no one is here..My son said he would come home from college if I made it so, wanted to see him, so the deed is done.Planning on a busy fall holidaze, one of our son's is getting married on December 8th in Sarasota, 2 down, 3 to go. I also have some surgery scheduled for December 20th, will be out of commission for the remainder of Holidaze and New years, they told me recovery 2 and 1/2 weeks..Getting old sucks and my Journey goes on and I'm Happy..

Several years ago someone posted a cute comic of turdukenish having an "afterglow" conversation. You will be in my prayers as you go through and recover from surgery.
