Well, we couldnn't resist and we got our puppy last night. Our dog is tolerating him, I'm sure it will take him some time to get used to him. The kids were shocked and so excited. We still have to name him, but none of us can agree on anything. I can't wait to go home and play with him!
After a night of puppy whining, I didn't wake up to do my workout this morning. I'm really slacking this week, so I'm hoping that I can get back to it next week, but I have to figure out what I'm going to do with the puppy while I work out.
My eating hasn't been horrible, I've stayed within my calories this week, but last night with all of the excitement we grabbed fast food, so that was bad but still within my calories. I'm sure I'll go over my calories on Easter, but I'm hoping that I don't have a gain on Monday. I'm getting into a good eating routine, and that has helped me so much, because I'm not snacking quite as much and I'm eating better foods. I feel like I'm doing my best and that is good enough for me.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and a Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter, and congratulations on the new puppy!

When we got our new puppy she would have a fit when I tried to walk on the treadmill. I finally put the fence play-yard thingy right next to the treadmill, so close she could almost reach me, and gave her a chew bone to work on. Now she is a year old and when I go to walk, I just go down and she will make a few laps around the room, then settle down right next to the treadmill and chew her bone until I finish. Occasionally, putting her paws up on the side - I keep waiting for her to try and get on it with me! LOL! Good luck and congratulations!
