So I've made a decision. It kinda terrifies me. I'm not going to weigh in until May 1. I know right now that my body is doing some serious work. I know my stressing over the durned number doesn't help in the least. I've seen so many people say its not the best idea to weigh in daily. Maybe I'll only last a week, maybe I can hold out the whole month. I've made it through yesterday and today with the scale in the same place as always so we shall see!

Part of this decision is that I've had a stomach bug all weekend. Obviously I've lost some weight. Curiosity is killing me to find out how much so I can celebrate the lower number. That's BAD. Losing weight from dehydration severe enough to make my feet cramp is not something so be heralded as a grand thing. If I weighed myself right now I'd probably have a new low. Likely I'd dance. That's BAD. So as much as I want to know what the number is... I'm gonna hold out. I still plan to track my foods but that's it. Oh jeeze lol!

I bought a new dress today.

Dani, stay on course with your eating, and it will pay off. However, the frustration, of waiting until May 1st, might even do me in. LOL I guess that's why I weigh in every Monday. Congrats, on the new dress, I'm sure it looks great on you. :-)

I LOVE having an INSPIRATION piece to hang and see daily. Congrats on the new dress :) I've stayed away from the scale when it seemed the right thing to do - I tend to be obsessive and daily weigh-ins really work for me -- I only record once a week so only then is it an *official* weight..that way I mostly see the downward trend and not the water/waste weight flux. Wishing you the best!

Thanks guys! Day 3 of no weigh in... intentionally. Kinda creeping me out haha. The desire to know is probably going to get to me sooner than later but I'm going to hold out as long as I can!

ShyGuy - it does look good! I was shocked! I tried on the XL first and almost went with it but it was a little too loose up top and even though the bottom is a teeny bit tight I'm planning on wearing it for Easter. :D The size 14 is still hanging on my bedroom wall however and I'm so excited to try it on in a few months.

You're my HERO!! I can't stay away from the scale - it's my new addiction! I weight at night and in the morning. 'Course, the flip side is that I'm learning a lot about the fluctuations of my body, and how I tolerate certain things. I've discovered that I can go each day with a few more carbs than I thought, just by keeping close track of my weight fluctuations. Maybe someday, when I'm done learning about me I'll be able to back away from the scale a bit - I'll think of you when I do!!! And congrats on the new dress - you'll have to post pic's!!
