DANGIT! I left my breakfast/lunch at home today. On the bright side, I won't have to pack it for tomorrow. :-) So, I had to eat our crappy cafeteria food. I had 4 over-cooked jennie-o breakfast sausage, and apple, and an orange. Everything else had gluten, eggs or dairy in it. Thank goodness I'm meeting a friend for lunch earlier than usual today. I don't think I'd be able to make it until noon.

So, yesterday I didn't do my regular scheduled run. I thought that I'd work through lunch and then leave work early to hit the gym. I wound up working later than I usually do. Yesterday was a very busy day here at work. Not to mention I very proudly found a major bug in the code, which caused all kinds of hellabaloo, but make me look really good. I love feeling like a savior. OK, just kidding (half-way).

I'm having lunch with my friend S today. She used to work here about 3 years ago and we've kept in touch over the years. She's 1 year WW lifetime and she also runs barefoot. But she does these ultra marathons - like 50K and stuff. While I was doing my semi-dry 5K, she was running a 50K through snow, mud and gunk. She's my weight loss hero. :-)

I think that now that I'm about to hit maintenance, I'm going to move my journal over to a blog -- and blog about getting off these final few pounds and the struggle to keep it off. What works for me and what doesn't. There are so many books/blogs, etc about how to get weight off your body, but how do you keep the weight off once it goes down? This is a question that I'm fearing and struggling with every day. I love my size 6 Levi's. I don't want to EVER give them up. EVER!

Wow I totally missed that you hit your 155 goal. WAY TO GO, GIRL! And now that your lifestyle has changed to where exercising and eating right is the norm, I don't think maintenance will be a big problem for you.
