Disappointment

Do not why I am at 196 lbs since past 2 weeks. I have been regular at gym, I managed my diet fairly well. I touched 193 lbs last week for a brief time and today I am back to 196 :(

Do not know if I need to tweak my workout, diet or lifestyle !

I can't really be the right person to give any advice of any kind but it seems like you aren't having your quota of nutrients. Check the USDA to see the daily servings of fruits and veggies, protein, and fat. Or maybe, you're just on a plateau and your body needs a bit of rest. Best of luck!

yes, this could be one plateau. I have been at around 196 lbs for almost 4 years in my early 20s. I guess this plateau thing works like a stock in stock market. More time you have stayed at a weight, more it would be difficult to cross. It acts like a resistance zone. Lets wait and struggle :( and hope to hit my next possible plateau of 180 lbs asap.

ambika, I just checked the food break up on monthly basis in my diet calendar. I am not an expert on daily requirements of an adult but it seems fine with me For this month I had - average Fat: 42.20g, Protein: 81.91g, Carbs: 267.26g per day, with Exercise: 2763kcal and Food intake of: 1807kcal. This looks fine? Correct me if I am wrong.

No no... this looks all right to me. I meant the type of carbs. Like you are supposed to have 5 servings of fruit and veggies per day. 1 apple is 1 serving etc. Check that out. And maybe... you are eating too little? It could lead to starvation mode. (But in that mode, people gain weight.) Here, I want to point out that I am most certainly not meeting my dietary guidelines. :( Max I get is 3 servings. Check this link for more information. http://www.fns.usda.gov/tn/Resources/nibbles/pyramid_servings.pdf Also, the following link might be useful: http://www.bcm.edu/cnrc/caloriesneed.htm
