One more strike against Weight Watchers and a "pro" for Fatsecret: Looking at the app this afternoon at Cheddar's (trying to figure out what I could have and what I should steer clear of!) I realized that the photo part of it isn't just to snap a shot of your food for later. The app actually looks stuff up and tries to match what it's seeing in the photo with the correct foods to help you track! Weight Watchers just has it to where you take a photo and go back to it later to try and figure out what you need to track. (Okay, at least that's how it was a couple months ago...)

I've also noticed - to my delight - that Fatsecret has many, many more foods in their database, and many more of those have accurate measurements when compared to Weight Watchers. Instead of seven items all stating "one serving" for the serving size, but varying wildly in how many SmartPoints that "one serving" is, Fatsecret more often than not uses things like cups, tablespoons, ounces, slices, etc. THANK YOU!!!!!

Seriously, if I keep losing weight on this diet with the help of Fatsecret?? Pffft - give me a month or two on it and I will dump Weight Watchers completely. I don't need to be paying thirty something dollars for a program I'm not even using.

I'll stash that saved money in a jar or something and use it for a new Garmin watch!
