Hello and Happy Tuesday FS!

Off and running today! My work week will be jammed packed so I must find some me time to exercise. At my age, I have to work exercise in before I get home from work ... I don't usually feel like taking on the elliptical at 8:00 pm. Don't mind the wii and or stretching so much at that hour though. The stretching even relaxes me.

I got on the scale and was excited to see a drop BUT no ... No drop and I was back up the tad I dropped. Not sure why but the weight is hanging on. I didn't go over my RDI and increased my activity. I did have a couple of glasses of wine on Sat and Sun night but that was factored in. My body has chosen this weight as some type of set point that I need to reset! I will not let this defeat me!! I am going to get to my goal! I'm going to hit the elliptical and get ready for work. I'll catch up with you later buddies!

Have a fabulous day FS! We will do this!!! Oh yeah!!!

Hate it when you work that hard and the scale won't cooperate. I'm sure it is just a temporary thing - Tell your scale to get with the program!

The last time I got stuck for an extended period of time, it helped me to change up my calorie intake so that instead of eating at a constant level, I combined high and low days that averaged out to the same number I was eating before. If nothing else, just be patient- you'll get there!

I have thought of that calorie shifting thing- some people do really well with it. Scales can be a very hard task master !

Happy Tuesday! Don't let the scale discourage you. I think we are all fighting with our scales since the Holidays. The important things is that you are staying focused. Keep up the workouts, the lbs will continue to melt away.

I remember watching a biggest looser once, when the young chap had eaten too little, worked out bigtime and had a tiny loss. The Bob said he had to eat more to loose...just a thought? I know you have tried so many things and seem stuck, perhaps up your intake a bit? Though I know how scary that is XX

Thanks Buffy, Bren, Nat, Sharon, M and Di! I will get thru this hump ... Thanks so much for your support, suggestions and cheering on! I'm hoping it is temporary, water gain ... Patience is not one of my virtues but I am getting better with age. ;-) I do wonder about switching up my calories or shifing and even if I am eating too little. I have tried to stick with healthy food and have limited my breads (weak point). I am weighing in and recording tomorrow am...we'll see. I may get a bit snarly with Snarly! ;-) I am still motivated and will not throw in the towel this time. Fierce determination!! Hope you had a fabulous day!
