Ok, so my perfect track of losing weight this week is finally stalled as of this morning. I gained a pound--darn! Despite being good!! All because I wanted to go out to dinner and hang out with friends on a saturday night!! I made the best choices at dinner even though all the temptations were in my face--awesome specialty bread, pizza, gourmet belgian fries, belgian beer, cool cocktails and wine (did I tell you I haven't had a drop of wine for over 2 months now?!)..and so on..Instead I thought I was choosing good--I ordered a small plate of cheese sampler (4 cheeses and some pickled little thingies in it--probably radish and apple?), and skipped the toast, and bread that came with..and a large arugula salad with olives, capers, and cheese dressing--I made sure to ask there was no sugar in the vinaigrette...and I only had water and then coffee..and yet, this morning I gained a pound! Probably the salt from the olives and capers, and the water retention from the cheese...hopefully it'll go away, but pyschologically, it's a downer to see my perfect track broken by merely one evening of going out!!! Not fair when my friends were wolfing down amazing things and drinking 4-5 sweet cocktails easily, AND managing to look so darn skinny!!!! Why don't they have to make these sacrifices, look like a boring person for not ordering anything fun, and yet still be more overweight than them!!
Well, almost 10 pounds to go before I reach my first goal of 130 pounds--so exciting!!!! So almost there!!!! So this week begins my earnest, intense workout week at the gym--NO CHEATING!!! And within 2-3 weeks, I can get to my goal!!!!! I'm marking down Feb 7th as the D-day to get to this!!! AND I HAVE TO BE PERFECTLY GOOD UNTIL THEN!!!! Which would help bear out the results of induction really well, and help me develop good workout habits and a sound regimen...
