goooooooood monday mornin...waking up to 26 this morning..no wind chill...have decided to quit doing a morning walk if its below 30 degrees ...just no sense in walking when its that cold out...will wait till alittle later in the morning when the sun has had time to get up alittle higher in the sky...thanks to doit2it...ive been thinkin about what i was tellin her an decided it was time to change what i was eating an cut my carb intake...get my body to start burning off more flab then feeding it unneeded carbs since i havent been getting my morning walks in like i was cause i was under the weather...now that im feelin better...figured i would shock the ole body...and change my eating habits...i know i get tired of eating the same food all the time...even though i enjoy the same lunch menu day after day...a change is good...so yesterday i made tuna salad ahead for a day or 2...an the plan is to cut back on the carbs for a while...or until it catches up with me an i find my hand grabbing things i dont normally eat...use to be eating was so simple...just grab anything stick it in your mouth...an enjoy it...however now its a daily challenge to make wiser choices to keep tricking the body so it keeps working off them calories an the stored fat...i can tell when i try an pinch an inch...its harder to grab where once flab rested....little by little...day by day...improvement shows in the mirror...and on the scales an when i try on my jeans...have a greattttttttttttt one...

Hi Loosin, I have been impressed with you walking in the cold...to me if its below 50 I can't walk out side...last year I was walking my .2 mile driveway and got a scare..so its hard for me to go walking out side again by my self...Have a great Monday...☺

thanks bren...them ice roads an sidewalks are whats bad...ive had several scares when walking early in the morning before the sun is up...fell couple of times last year..but was lucky i still had enough padding to help with the falls...lol...just decided last few days..its no longer worth walking when its below 30 and not able to see whats on the sidewalk or road...

I know for me carbs are evil ... I use to crave them. I have modified my program that I have pretty much cut out the white stuff, bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, etc. I was never much on sugar. I don't have the cravings that I use to have. Good luck to you getting that body to burn flab! I thnk you are right, switching things up is a good thing to keep the body guessing. Enjoy your later walk! Have a fabulous day!

thanks jav...yes i think that switching foods from time to time is a great way of keeping my body guessing as to whats in store for it...just like cheat days...i do have em..just not as often as i once did...i have one mt.dew can..in the fridge thats been there for a week...that every time i get water out..i hear it calling my name...lol...

wow loosin, I did that? 37 carbs is really low; you are one disciplined guy! don't starve yourself now. I'm finding a GREAT benefit to this low-carb thing is GETTING OFF THE SUGAR. Unlike javadali, I love sugar but not by itself -- gotta have that flour and butter (and chocolate) with it. Now that I'm dropping the sugar and flour but get to keep the butter, I'm not CRAVING those things...honestly, it's a wierd new experience for me. I know I'll be healthier for it - and hopefully, one day, skinnier. Have a great day, my friend!

P.S. I'm out of eggs for breakfast and your tuna salad sounds delicious right now...who says tuna is not for breakfast? Also, I think you are on to something with "tricking the body"...after awhile of doing what I'm doing, I'll probably start switching it up like you're doing. Another thing about the carbs for me is that no matter how much I consumed, 30 minutes later, I could eat again....not so with protein or fat.

lol doit....ive had tuna salad for breakfast...lol...i think its good to eat low carbs for a while an then occasionally switch it up...keep the ole body guessing whats in store for it...its just a matter of tryin different stuff to see what works best for you...no certain thing works for everyone...i loveeeeee chocolate...if i dont have it in the house..then i dont miss it as bad...but just took mom to walmart...she bout all kinds of chocolate for xmas stuffers...an cookie stuff to make cookies...geeez...mom...your temptin me...
