PoulC's Journal, 07 October 2016

I spent the past two days preparing for Hurricane Mathew. Thankfully he missed south Florida. I assume I burned tons of calories, based on how sore I am today, and I know I didn't eat much. Everyone is safe and no damage; not even any trees or big limbs down. We only lost power for about 12 hours.

The surge was pretty minimal around where I live, but was significant north of here. We dodged a bullet yesterday, for sure.
