Getting harder to lose this last 20 lbs. Trying and reading new sites. I went to the extreme and did a 10 day Fast....won't do that again for 2 lbs of hell.
Going back to school to finally get my degree. Just thinking of this makes me want to eat. I have been a stress eater my whole life. Haven't been able to exercise in over a week because I got 2 ingrown toes nails removed at once and still can't wear normal shoes. Just venting to save myself from on the way to school grabbing something awful. Really appreciate the support on this journey. My friends at home don't seem to care its like I have bugged them to death with my weight loss they don't want to hear it anymore.
NOTHING IN MY CLOSET FITS.....no money while in school to replace a wardrobe. Still have kids to support and now a Grandchild. I have faith it will all work out just going to be tight for awhile while Mommy gets her life on track again. Prayers always work for me. Thanks everyone for the support

You will succeed! I feel ya, I've had to "resupply" the closet 3 times since Feb! Goodwill and Thrift stores are a saving grace! And this year our grandson started kindergarten and they have to have uniforms! WTF! So grandma and grandpa took care of him, God, Church, and the Goodwill will take care of us! ( We have a Goodwill downtown near the Public Farmers Market, eh, eh, that sells everything for $0.99 cents a pound! Crazy! "appreciated" ) And yea, my co-workers seem "irritated" that EVERYONE asks me about me, but now that I'm down 90+ lbs, some of them are asking for more info not just going "yeah, yeah, yeah....but I love bread". LOL! You are doing GREAT! Keep going and pass the naysayers on the side of the road!

I couldn't resist to respond after seeing....degree AND a Gramma? Wow!!! lots on your plate. Take it easy. Chill. You got this. You have come so far! you have the treasured "green" line so don't give it up. you worked so hard to come this far. You can do it. If it takes a little longer, hang in there. Do you know how many of us would love to say...."lose this last 20 lbs."? YOU GOT THIS!!!!!

It is good to vent...you can do this...try and find some affordable comfortable clothes...THAT will make a world of difference in how you feel about yourself and getting motivated. If your friends won't listen...we will! We are here for you!

I like what SjF60 told you; you can do it; the last 10 to 20 pounds is always the hardest. I wish I was there to help you with the clothes; I probably have some clothes in my closet that would fit you. The last day of a garage sale is a good time to pick up clothes. People would rather sell them for $.50 or less or give them to some who really needs them. I can vouch for that; couldn't afford a new wardrobe myself, if that weren't true.

I love my Goodwill store! I live in an upscale area, so I find designer clothes like Liz Claiborne, Coldwater Creek, Chicos, Croft & Barrow, etc. all the time. It's great for work clothes, since there is a high probability that I'll get chemicals on my clothing in the course of a day, and who wants to ruin an $80 pair of pants? At $4.99 a pair, Goodwill pants are practically disposables. Vent away here all you like. Your fellow travelers understand everything you're going through.

Talking with my granddaughter, who is 12, yesterday. Made the mistake of asking daughter if my top was outdated on FaceTime. Granddaughter was in room. My DD said no, then granddaughter spoke up and said yes. My husband had already said he thought it was outdated. Was getting another opinion. She wants to go shopping with me but only at retail stores. I told her at the rate that I was going down I couldn't afford to go to retail stores. It had to be the thrift stores. She asked me why. When I put it to her that in a month or maybe more I would need to replace clothes and if it had not been for her mother who is on her on journey I would have had to go shopping sooner. That would be money wasted. Thrift stores are our best friends. Feel you on the grandchild. They are a blessing that is for sure. When they come into the world we only want the best for them and try to make sure that happens.
