I wish that this program on the RTD would show that I am on a 650 per day diet. I am alone for six out of every 14 days. My partner is living in camp and I am at home. It isn't really my partner .. it is my eldest son and we are good good friends. I can diet when her is gone but not when he is here.

Both of our houses burned in the Fort McMurray fire. We live in different apartments and mine has been equipped with the kitchen ... his is huge but has xboy, big screen, mattress on the floor and toiletries. I have a working kitchen but I have a few lawn chairs and a couple of folding tables. It is weird how you are with possessions after you walk away with nothing ... you are not motivated to shop and nothing feels permanent.

My aunt 97 yr old aunt has just down sized and the only piece of real furniture I have is her upright piano. Pat has bought a Yamaha violin and I have a banjo for Clawhammer on order. This will give us something to do over the winter. I got into a seniors home her in Edmonton in a very trendy area. Coming from walking along the Clearwater River and trails in the bush ... I am in the city and not a city girl. There is a walking machine on the 9th floor and have taken to half an hour brisk walk per day.... hoping to lengthen the time in a week or so. Pat has a very active job ... he is fit.

He comes home and I cook for him. I think it is a comfort for him ... some things have not changed. I am an amazing cook and it is a way that I show my affection.

The days he is gone I cut down to less than 650 cal per day. This is my first week of this diet. I do not have a scale and am just going on the fit of my clothes. This week it is noticable the change in the fit. I am really wary about his arrival home ... If he does not work any over time he will be home on Wednesday.

Things going okay with Pat home .. when he stays over in the evening and we watch a movie or something I cook two different meals ... that is working. I go to the Dr tomorrow and weigh in ... pretty excited. I wish that I could find others on this site that are doing a very low cal diet. I have looked but maybe not in the right places. My diet is restricted to so few foods and there are no real recipes. I eat everything in it's natural state. I steam my veg and throw half a vegie burger on the top so that it heats up. I have just discovered that these are not vegie burgers either. I just went into Costco and looked for the lowest calorie lowest fat patti that they had. These are made with roasted red peppers and have chicken in them. I like them ... after steaming they have no released one drop of fat into the water under the steamer ... not a single litte oil drop sitting on top of the water and they are so so so good. I have been craving something salty and crunchy too. I have a solution for that ... I have Roasted Seaweed Layers that I got from Costco and an entire package is only 30 calories. It seems to do the trick ... my mind shuts off the need for a bag of chips. At the doctors tomorrow we will look at some Physio for my hip pain. I have not walked for two days and I miss filling in the exersize portion of my profile every day. Not walking for the last two days has really cut the pain down. It is half of what it was three days ago. Something else about my profile ... I started and then lost the web site for over a year. I have actually only been doing this for a week or so and I just love this site. It would be nice to have a very low calorie diet buddy ... I will keep looking Best dieting to all.

Today was my first resteraunt experiance since I started ... I ate french fries off of Pat's plate. I did not get too carried away.

I spent most of my free time on the banjo. I am terrible but I now have some licks down so that Pat recognized what I was playing. That was so encouraging.
