When it rains, it pours, right? I think that’s how the saying goes. Seems to be the theme of my September so far. Managed to irritate my left knee and my right heel, so I’m all hobbley today. Not sure what I did, but I’ll take it easy the next few days.
Which works out alright, since my long weekend is pretty jam-packed. Four days, three first dates. Which I know sounds pretty awful, but it just sorta happened that way. Going bowling with one guy tonight, going on a picnic with another on Sunday, and then meeting up for a barbecue on Monday with another. Considering that 99% of the first dates I go on are awful, I think this will increase my odds of meeting at least one decent guy, lol! Tonight will be the first date in quite a while, and I know it can’t go as bad as my last. Long story, but ends in a restraining order… People are crazy.
Now to survive the workday. It’s like donuts central in here. Brought a parfait and that’s holding me over pretty well. Gotta escape and go home for lunch so I don’t grab anything I shouldn’t here.
