talk2bjs's Journal, 04 April 2016

I had fruit and yogurt at 9:30 and here I sit HUNGRY AT 11:43 AM...eating baby carrots! During month of April and 1st two weeks of May I need to loose 15 pounds. I can do it. My youngest son graduates May 14, 2016 from Virginia Tech. Big accomplishment..1st to graduate 4 year university in our immediate family. I really don't want to be this weight for pictures!!!

Back when I did weight watchers core program I lost as much as 6 to 7 pounds a week during my first month. But back then I was more in control. I was YOUNGER! I had medication that kept me focused! Here I sit 10 years older and medication free!

Hi Talk2bjs. Good work sticking to it. Go Go Go. Congratulations to your son. I also have to lose 15 lbs by the end of May. Big wedding in June, and a summer camp in July. Weight piled on this winter. I am terrified that my age makes my body unable to lose.

Don't give up. It can be a challenge. When I find my self wanting to snack, sometimes I eat a teaspoon of peanut butter and nice glass of ice water. I'm not on any type of diet. Im just trying to watch my portions, calories, and stay low carb. My fiance wants me join this huge motorcycle event in July. I wanna lose 20 by then, plus be closer to my goal weight. It is hard for some as we get older, but don't let that discourage you! Move around best you can. Doing some sort of activity is better than not doing nothing at all. I wish you both the best. Much support😉
