goooooooooood mornin everyone....just got home from my morning gym workout...decided last night to get bck to basics at the gym...so this morning got on the elliptical for an hour..doing a hill program and starting out with a resistance of 5...gotta start somewhere...well needless to say i was sweating more doing that then if i had been on the treadmill with a hill program for an hour...so...that tells me i will be using the elliptical for a few weeks, slowly building up my resistance on it...in past years i had the resistance up to 15 or so, but that did take a few weeks to get it ther using a hill program...i almost took the day off this morning...i woke up before the alarm clock went off an thought...should i take the day off..an go tomow..or should i go today an take tomow off...well i got up an was out the door at 410am...an in the gym by 430am..i was only one in ther today but thats ok...im tuned in to being in there for one thing an thats to get my workouts in...i feel like im more focused an i kno what i want to accomplish while im there again....sweat sweat sweat...all them bad choices out i make from the day before...i should have started back in the gym sooner this year, but kept puttin it off...i will have to remember next year to start again once i notice that im starting to add the weight ...be less to work off an keep that little blue dot fallin instead of workin off what i already loss once before...o well...i do feel more energetic today...i know why i was so tired yesterday...i had switched from skim milk with my protein mix to whipped cream thinkin i would cut some carbs, but i was also cutting energy i needed from the carbs...so im back to drinkin skim milk with my protein mix and then later in the day i will have another protein drink an use the whipped cream thinned with water just to use it up an get it outta the house...was tryin to cut down on carbs, but thats the wrong thing to do when your tryin to have the energy to do workouts...gotta have them carbs to help energize you an to give you the energy to burn off the calories...well...gonna end todays journal...hope everyone has a greatttttttttttttt saturday....
