Happy Friday!

Had an aha moment last night. I have been putting half & half in my morning coffee - which is not compatible with my 16:8 IF - DUH!

This morning I drank it black. Developing this habit should help.

Now lets see what else I've been doing wrong. Hmmm . . .

Rguarino - wish I liked mine like that - probably would be better for me.

I switched to half-caffiene coffee as a way to lessen bitterness of the coffee and my dairy intake. It works. I still get my energy boost without the dairy or the mucky taste of decaf.

Addie - Not trying to shame anyone into giving up cream (see Mahjohn's comment). This is just some things I'm going to experiment with.

Carol - Good call. I'm sure I get too much, but some days it seems to help keep me sane - LOL.

I drink mine black (zero calories), and I've lost a ton of weight by not cramming extra bullet-proof calories into my diet. I'd rather chew those calories for my breakfast (fruit & nuts).

I enjoy those two cups of java in the morning and I really like using Half & Half. I don't use that much .. just enough for color. It's an art form ... color ... I am a 'coffee artist' dont'cha know?

@Muscle Mabry I do 1/2 tbsp. during fast period to stay under 100kc. I do a full tbsp. in the afternoon. I love it too!

I switched to just black about 3 years ago. Once in awhile will do cream and a little sugar as a treat now that I'm @ goal. I add the sugar and cream in my tracking. How I used to drink it is way too sweet for me now.

Well I did try a vegan bulletproof at Friday lunchtime - Honest? - I can take it or leave it. It tasted ok, was frothy and creamy thanks to my Omniblend, but I can't say that it did anything else. And to me it still feels wrong to drink fat. :)

I drink my coffee black most of the time. Actually the texture of eating or cooking with coconut oil just nauseates me as does all that fat. I use it on my hair and skin, not in my food.
