Man. That’s rough. Do you mean arteries are blocked? Funny thing about being so thin. One part of my daughters studies were on the same effects from obesity are very similar to being super skinny to the heart. Not saying this is for your case…just popped in my head. What will they do about this? Praying it’s not as serious as it sounds my love. 🩷🩷🙏🏻🙏🏻

Wifey it is serious. The damn statin seems to be unavoidable along with crestor apparently. Doc mentioned yoga may be helpful for me. She wants me to break a sweat that is hard to talk thru for 20 min a day which would be no big deal if i could run but i cannot per THR so that means swimming, maybe yoga? Or a dry sauna and some other things. She wants me to double up on fish oil and some other supplements as well. Im sure it’s genetic. Mom, grandma and great grandma all passed from cardiac issues/disease and then there is the lifetime of battling sugar that got the best of me for about 8 years or so along with prednisone. Funny thing, two days ago before i got the news i had said to hubs that i ha been wondering if i lost another 10-15 pounds if it would prolong or even negate the need for THR on left side but that my face gets to thin below 135 and the vanity vs helping the hip last was foremost in my brain. He was horrified that i even entertained the thought of losing more weight😂. He misses my junky trunk😁. How are you doing?

Dazey-carotid intima-media testing. Excellent test for checking for placate buildup in the carotid which would indicate blockage in the heart. Thanks mama!!! I do feel great and thanks it’s a one-piece and super comfy. This was yesterday when it was sunny. Today we are back to the rain. Seemed fitting for the news i got. When’s the baby due?

Crystal i think i am so healthy minus this annoying pulmonary disease and not the cardiac issue and the bad hip lol. Summer should make everything better!! Thank you for for the note😘

You might try reading a book called "The Great Cholesterol Myth, Revised and Expanded: Why Lowering Your Cholesterol Won't Prevent Heart Disease--and the Statin-Free Plan that Will" by Jonny Bowden and Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra. It's a fascinating and scientific read about the connections between how we eat, fat consumption, sugar and carb consumption, and heart disease. I'm halfway through it and have already made a couple of meaningful changes based on the nutrition studies in the book.

Denise, im trying to catch my breath. I dont know what i expected. Well i expected it to be fine i guess. . I felt sucker punched and have a lot going on right now but when i can be less emotional i will probably be doing a ton of research. I spent all last night reading about low-glycemic diet. (Hate the word diet).

Oof, sorry to hear this. Yes, take a little time to deal with the feelings, then time to start figuring out an attack plan. You can do it
