Recently decided to change my "diet" again. Not for weight purposes specifically, but more for overall health of my wallet & my waist line.
Decided to just buy Chicken, turkey, eat beans wkly, veggies of course - frozen & fresh & nuts for snacking w/ raisins. Also will be eating REAL cereal - real oates & nuts =). Also adding even more fresh fruit to the budget. Continuing to do away w/ processed foods... Its a transition though.
194.0 lb Lost so far: 96.0 lb.    Still to go: 29.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 5.9 lb a week

May I suggest adding 1-2 Tbl sp of fiber (psyllium hush) to every meal. It cuts down on assimilated carbs you eat, is great for evening out your blood sugar; and helps limit fats that would otherwise stay with you.

sounds very similar to my own ideas ( even if i dont always achieve them ) im very aware of the cost of everything ...and some things in healthy eating are more expensive ...i dont care what the so called experts say this is true ...but im becoming more aware of quality ...not quantity and i think this might balance the odds
