Induction day 2: Coffee's back on!
Brunch: salad with shredded cheese (1c) and regular ranch (2c)..threw out onions and croutons. Succumbed to coffee temptation as was feeling a little uneasy and hungry without it..coffee with half and half (0c).
Strongly resisted all cravings for something "solid"..i.e., peanuts from the vending machine (yikes!) or some weighty thing to keep me feeling full. Drank lots of water (3 L or so). And also took my multivitamin pill to keep the nutrients fulfilled despite these low cal/carb meals
Dinner: early dinner of subway salad with veggie patty (11c?), ranch (3c), cheese (1.5c)
soy milk (2c)
Exercise: Skipped my gym classes---tai chi and spinning! Too hungry before hand, and then thought I'd have salad and atleast go to tai chi..but then felt so full I didnt feel like going...ok, excuses I know!!
total: 20.5 carbs (barely made it! Didn't know the darned subway patty was so high in carbs!)
Tomorrow I'm gonna really try to do without coffee! And if it's day 3, I should start to be in ketosis--hopefully!
Also, I looked up a whole bunch of recipes and menus for my new induction plan for the next two weeks, so I am going to start waking up at 7 am and do this right with a good breakfast and have good meals thru the day AND WORKOUT!!!!
BTW, tomorrow is a dinner party at my place so I'm going to be surrounded by a lot of temptations..the theme is "don't knock the mock!" so everything is made of mock-meats and such and so all veggie and theoretically everything i can eat! But I'm on INDUCTION---so I'm going to have to avoid it all! And prepare something else diet like that only I can eat!
