Today's the day that I start my fasting diet. I am giving myself six months to lose all the weight that I need to lose. That would be at least 40 pounds. Ideally I would like to be 175 pounds.

For now, I will ease into this. I will have breakfast and dinner every day this week. Then next week, I will be eliminating breakfast. My only meal will be dinner. If everything goes according to plan, I should lose at least one pound a week.

I started the same way, now I am only having food between 5 and 8 pm, low carb, moderate protein and high fat. My first week has been wonderful, lost 4 lbs. Feel great, sleeping like a baby.

Interesting. Some people count calories, some count carbs; you're counting meals. Well, if it works, then it works, right? Keep us posted!
