Okay, I got my results from the cardiologist. I have a leaky mitral valve. I'm getting enough back flow that I may need to have repair/replacement surgery in the next year or so. This explains a lot of my fatigue issues. It also gives me yet another reason to lose weight. Two of my high blood pressure meds were doubled to help take the load off my heart. I can and should exercise as much as I can handle.
This is hit my deep fears. One of my best friends who never smoked, drank coffee, or alcohol died at 49 because he had this same problem. Of course, he also had and enlarged heart (which I don't). But he wasn't overweight at all, either.
Oh and I still have my colonoscopy next week to go through. Georgia
