Hot Toddy Recipe

I realize this is NOT a "diet" recipe, however; it's going to be -14 F tonight and we're still getting 50+ mph wind gusts. I find this to be
a wonderful, relaxing and soothing nightcap. X)

2 ounces whiskey (I actually only use 1 shot which I think is 1.5 oz)
4 ounces water (hot from the tap)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 slice fresh lemon (optional)
1/2 stick cinnamon (optional)

Place the whisky in a large microwave safe mug.
Add the honey.
Pour the hot water into the mug over the spoon you used for the honey to get off the last little drops.
Add the lemon juice and stir well.
Place the mug in the microwave for 1 minute or until it is piping hot, but not boiling.
Add the lemon slice and serve.
