HAPPY 2015 EVERYONE! We finally got to go out without the little ones for a little bit on Wednesday evening to celebrate with friends. We were home by 8:30 because our 15 year old daughter had plans that evening too. It was good to go out with my husband. It was just what our relationship needed and set 2015 off to a pretty good start. :) We haven't been out alone since our daugther was born Oct. 2012. Although I'm not sure how soon we will be able to go out again. Our 5 month old really likes her momma and cried nearly the entire 3 hours we were gone. :( Poor thing. She was finally asleep when we got home but my 15 year old was in tears. I felt worse for her but she never called to tell me that she was having an awful experience. Her boyfriend was there to help, thankfully. He was able to play with our toddler while she tried to comfort the baby. She said if we were trying to convince them not to have sex that it worked. Having a baby cry for that long was very wearing on both of them. What's crazy is ordinarily she is a very good baby. She just loves her mom and thankfully her daycare provider. Up until she was 3 months old I couldn't give her to anyone, including my husband for more than 2 minutes without her getting hysterical. I thought she'd outgrown that but I guess not. Oh well. 2015 is still off to a good start. I'd like to get to know my step-daughter better and can't wait to start exercising...although I really don't have a plan for either one yet. I'll get it figured out... soon!! Happy Friday everyone.
