Well, I debated continuing to record my food. There are good points both for an against. For me, the deciding factor was the "I'm not on a diet, I'm on a new way of eating" idea. In order for any system to work for me, it has to be sustainable. I feel that South Beach is sustainable for the long haul. But recording all my food makes it feel like it might not be (if that makes sense). I recorded for the first 5 weeks because the nutritionist wanted me to since I was also working on knowing what a "portion" was (a very valuable lesson). Now, it's really up to me.
I may record in the future if I run into problems but at this point, I'm backing off. I may also still measure new things in my diet and things I'm likely to over indulge in. Georgia
