Today was lemon meringue pie day. This is a small 6 inch pie. Enough for two or three pieces and that is it. No leftovers to call my name tomorrow, no wasted ingredients and no “I shouldn’t have eaten that pie.” Tomorrow just moves forward as always. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com. your last line, similar to one of the best things my mentor at work taught me. "here we are, where do we go?" applies to so many things in life. it's a good way to learn to let go and move forward.

With a little creative cooking you can really cut the calories down. I do crustless pies that work.

Daph222— I don’t belong to FS for weight loss but just as a tool to help me keep track of my nutrition. Healthier eating most of the time and less healthy or less conducive to maintain my goals just once in a while. Deprivation does not work, guilt does not work.

Oh ok I get it now. And you’re so right. You might as well go for it sometimes.
