had two days this week of drinking Pepsi which is now out of the house. If I want it, I will have to purchase with meal which I bad, too, eating Taco Bell and stuff crust pizza. Just like you I was honest with the logging. I am this journey to prevent meds for prediabetes. The doctor gave me 3 months to change a habit of eating bad for 30 years with the last two during quarantine being the worst.

Dougettasue - do all you can to keep diabetes at bay. I've been a diagnosed diabetic for about 20 years now. It is expensive (meds and insurance). Change some eating and do some easy exercises; you should see a decent change at your next doctor visit. Good luck

I've "dieted" most of my life, never any lasting success. The cravings were horrendous. Then diabetes came along. More weight. But in 2016 I discovered the keto way of eating. It literally saved my life. My diabetes reversed, and I no longer take any diabetes meds. I never have cravings for anything, ever. And I definitely never feel deprived. In fact, living keto helped me aee food differently. I used to live to eat. Now, I eat to live. I've recently decided to drop a few more pounds, but the main reason I eat keto is that it keeps me off meds with an A1c lower than 5.9 and no more wasted money on doctors and drugs that only kept me on the hamster wheel of a food-generated illness.

Nancy I am so glad that you found a way of eating that you literally can live with and that you are committed to better health.

I do the same, I log even when I go over my calories to hold myself accountable, plus we're human and none of us can eat perfectly every single day
