I'm not sure about this. My loss hasn't been great but, then, would it be on any diet at my age? The nutritionist told me to stay at about 1200 cals for phase 1 and 1500 for phase 2. I'm walking my b*tt off (but, apparently, not literally). I don't find it difficult to eat this way. The cravings are gone. I can pass the chocolate by without difficulty. But there is a part of me that wonders if Carb Addicts wouldn't work better for me. I lost so much faster when I did that (of course, I was also 12 years younger!) And the reasons that I stopped doing being able to eat that way are under control--chronic illness pain and not having a good way to walk.

I swore I would give this 2 months and I will. And doubts are normal, I guess. I didn't expect to lose 2 lbs a week (an almost 47 year old women with multiple chronic illnesses taking at least 2 medications which impact metabolism would be stupid to expect that). And I know weight fluctuates greatly especially for women. I think I will adopt one thing from Carb Addicts to help me--comparing average weekly morning weights instead of just snapshot weights.

You seem to be losing fine. Why starve yourself for a faster loss, when you can enjoy your life and food and lose at a slower pace. You will learn good habits and how to keep it off better by losing slower. You are doing great!
