This is my first journal entry not directly related to a weigh in. I went to my endocrinologist today, all my numbers were WAY better. I have lost about 22 lbs in the last 8 weeks. My HbA1c went from a 12.5 to a 7; that is a tremendous improvement.

The reason I am writing this is that she wants me to ease up on how hard I have been pushing. I have held my calories to around 1700/day. Which admittedly is not a lot for a 6'2" male. She wants me to be between 1800 and 2000; not a huge jump, but things are going so well that I am afraid to change anything.

I suspect I will add 200 calories a day and just exercise more.

This is my first "venting" entry - thanks for the forum to do that.
