skinnyminniemonique's Journal, 21 January 2022

I have been MIA for a long time...I've been on quarantine for a long time. I call it the wait and see game...let's stay home and wait and see if you get sick in 14 days lol. It wasn't me though, I have school age kids so each of them was exposed (at different times). Thankfully we made it out with no positive tests.

I've been doing good on with my eating even with having to work from home and having food around me all day. However, I did get some blood work done and I am pre-diabetic. Likely it's genetic and from having gestational diabetes 3xs. So here's my question, I definitely don't want to lose anymore weight and I don't eat much by way of carbs, so what else is there for me to do, so that I don't become diabetic or do I just keep doing what I'm doing?

Hope everyone is staying safe.

Photos show that you are already doing what i would answer your question. You do your work outs. Eliminating sedentary life. NEAT as much as possible. Also vegetables and fish as much as you can, set them at the top of your food priority.

There’s a book from Dr. Neal Barnard called “Prevent and Reverse Diabetes.” I liked it. It has many good points.

Start researching fasting. There is a lot of evidence out there that suggests if you can do a 5+ day fast, you can reverse a lot of damage. Look into it with an open mind.
