Dear Diary, Please rescue my friend from an addiction...an addiction to... the...GYM!!!!!!
Yeah, you read right! My awesome, kicka$$ friend has gone into the deep end with her gym-ing!! 4.5 hours of gym time??!! No, not over the whole week---over a SINGLE DAY!!!!
So should I celebrate this and be proud of her HERCULEAN effort?? Probably! But, for now, I'm just gonna sit here and pout. I can't keep up with this crazy-ass gym routine! Ladies and gentleman, JILLIAN HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING...and she kicks butt in the gym!! In my long-distance, tele-gym workout with her, I am falling way SHORT (yeah, my poor little 5.1 frame and little legs can't keep up :( She and another buddy of ours do an insane amount of situps (like 1200!!, and lift 2-hours worth of weights, and then run up a storm on the treadmill..etc etc...Whew! I'm just exhausted talkign about this!!!!
Yeah, so today's journal is DEDICATED to my awesome, inspiring buddy, BadAndee, who, much as I give grief to and bitch about, is the best drill sargeant and friend one could have!!! So here's to you, BA, I raise my wine glass to ya! An ENERGIZER BUNNY who will one of these days have travelled around the world...with all those miles she puts in the gym!!! ). Love ya, crazy friend!
P.S: As for me, yesterday was BAD..I lost control and ate some bad stuff at the winetasting (hummus, chips, pita etc.), and then later French toast, and then even later stopped by taco bell for a chalupa. I paid for all that with severe bouts of guilt.Today has been very good food-wise (atkins bar, coffee, salad, veggie stir fry with cheese and meatless crumbles, and soy milk with protein shake). I did 2.15 hours of workout (treadmill, elliptical, bike, and weights including increased sets and weight on biceps and shoulders).
