This ended up being day one of South Beach. I was going to do Carb Addicts for a full week (to help with the cravings for phase 1 of South Beach). Today ended up being both an acceptable Carb Addicts and South Beach.

I also saw the nutritionist today. She said either WOE was good as long as my fasting blood sugars come down (and the triglycerides would be nice, too). I've done CAD before but I think South Beach might have the edge for some stuff. In any case, I'm giving it at least 6 weeks.

I'm down almost 10 lbs from the beginning week of CAD. Nice.

I packed my South Beach appropriate foods to bring to work to join my CAD appropriate foods. It may take a bit to get the fats right. We shall see!
