So let’s be real for a second. Obviously as a baker but as a bulimic I was probably at least somewhat triggered handling my very favorite hobby which is of baking of course, and I don’t deny that that trigger is activated so I indulged in my planned meal which were tasty toasty cheesy turkey sandwiches. A little on the dry side but oh so satisfying. I’m trying to plan for success and also cover my cravings. Licking my mixing bowl with the kids was on the “have to do” List.

I'm a baker too and it is such a trigger! cookies are my biggest weakness! I want to make these healthy pumpkin cookies with dried cranberries and pepitas. but I know that I would b in the kitchen right now, scarfing several of them. I'm going to wait and make them for an upcoming road trip.. glad you can share your love of baking with your kiddos 💚

Oh I still have to eat something I bake after it’s done! But it’s a reasonable portion/ calories have to “fit” and still have a deficit at the end of the day. I can’t scarf down 1,000 calories but I can definitely do 2 pieces of baked goods at 150 calories apiece. It’s just better than nothing and it’s just enough so I don’t binge. Gotta keep my savage beast satisfied. I push them on everyone for meals tho lol I’m like oh man, these are good for you buddy go ahead lol my kids are a different story. I have a kid with adhd who only wants sweets and an asd son who only loves crunchy stuff. 😆🤷🏼‍♀️
