There are these Great Day brand Burrito Bowl microwavable thingies for 200 calories that are super filling. Also that Fage yogurt is very filling- more than my usual brand. And also- the Ole extreme low carb 50 calorie wraps with one of those tuna creation pouches and a greek yogurt- 220 calories and full for hours. I prefer McDonalds- but it is definitely more filling.

four cups of salad for breakfast with six ounces of meat and light dressing om nom nom. I'm all HIGH fiber/HIGH protein.

All sounds great, except cottage cheese, 🥴! I've had a hard time figuring out why I don't consider cottage cheese truly "cheese", but it's just a curd to me.😁

A GARBAGE SALAD Bag of butter lettuce Hearts of palm Baby corn Banana peppers Shredded carrots Cherry tomatoes Artichoke hearts Langostino or shrimp I don’t like dressing so all of that is under 300 calories and it’s soooo good!

I'm also a fan of fat-free Greek yogurt and fruit when trying to keep calories lower and still feel like I'm getting a lot of food. Giant salads with vegetables I like, leafy greens, a lot of lean animal protein (tuna, chicken) (for some reason, I don't feel as full if I try beans or tofu instead) and some kind of starch. I end up with a bowl so huge my husband is shocked and can barely eat all of it though it's all under 350 calories.

Pretty frequently, I'll get the flavored skyr or kvarg - high protein, low-fat, not high in carbs either, and some of the flavors are good. There is one called lemon and cookies that tastes cheesecake-like and one with a peanut butter and banana flavor. I also eat Jello (the one with the low-cal sweetener).

A bag of pork scratchings! Especially the air popped ones with only added salt for like 100cals.

🙃 LC. Uho I’m a cannibal!! 🤨

Piggy's talking my language. Didn't know there was an air fried version. I love the spicy ones. Mine are 520 for the whole bag but it's 52g protein and 32g fat no carbs.

For desert I like a Fiber One Brownie (warmed) with non fat greek yogurt on top.

A lot of good ideas, thanks everyone! DP, I bought some Fage to try with my strawberries. Very high in protein.

All great ideas, Mermee.

Almost forgot, Canadian Bacon. One of the leanest proteins out there. Little expensive if you buy deli prepped, but if you can buy bulk and slice yourself, quality goes up, water content and price go down...

Peanut butter (weighed, ofc, so as not to fit two tablespoons into my one tablespoon 😁)! On days when I just can't seem to feel full, a single serving of peanut butter right out of the jar does the trick. =) I also really love salted tofu but I understand that this might be a niche thing. 😅

Strangely, the PB trick works for me too. It's not considered a diet food because it's so calorically dense, but one or two teaspoons can really be satisfying sometimes.

Mer, I like that combo! 👍😋

Mermee, I'm going to have to try that and I think it will work because I like the taste of peanut butter in my skyr bowls in the morning. Sadly, the powdered PB doesn't work for me if what I want is peanut butter. I try to be open-minded about substitutes/low-cal alternatives but it tastes like s***. Fine in protein pancakes or a cake, but not just with water, yuck.

Sara Lee 45 calorie bread, low carb tortillas, cheddar cheese and snickers. Some aren’t exactly low calorie but when it replaces a meal it works for me. Especially when these things keep me full longer. Tacos, fajitas and stir fry are my go to meals for lower calorie yet super filling! (No rice of course)
